Activated directly by the pilot when needed, Heli-Hydrant™ draws water from a local municipal water system with permanent underground piping. The Heli-Hydrant™ can also be activated by SCADA. No ground crews are needed.

Specs

Heli-Hydrants™ are compliant with AWWA standards. They stand 8ft tall and 15ft in diameter. Holding 8,500 gallons of water, with an approximate fill rate of 1,200 gallons per minute, & full after approximately seven minutes. Heli-Hydrant™ sites require 200ft of clearance in all directions.

Install

Heli-Hydrant Inc. has a 3 tier system. All tiers include: consultation, parts and supervision from Heli-Hydrant Inc. team. Cost variants are determined by site specific needs, chosen contractor, and or additional site features. Timelines are contingent upon logistics, approvals and cooperations of all parties involved. After consultation and contract terms are accepted custom fabrication is completed in six weeks and installation is completed at the site in two weeks.
